Tryout Dates

Tuesday May 28th and Thursday May 30th @ TMI Episcopal High School!

$20 per player tryout fee.

10U, 12U, and 14U Age groups!

GENERAL SEASON OVERVIEW

*Practice 2X a week for 8 weeks (16 total practices) beginning Monday June 3rd.

*Some practices may be replaced with local games/scrimmages depending on other club teams availability.

*4 tournaments (Shooting for at least 3 games per tournament)-12 total games min. goal.

 Tentative Tournament Dates:

*Tournaments in BOLD are confirmed!

 June 15th or 16th  (Local Tournament-1 day with 3 games)  

June 22nd (G7 7v7 National Championship Prosper, TX, 1 day w/3 game guarantee)

June 29th or 30th (Local Tournament-1 day with 3 games)  

July 13th AND 14th (Tourney of Champions in Round Rock, 2 days with 4 Games)

July 20th or 21st (Local Tournament-1 day with 3 games) 

July 27th or 28th (Local Tournament-1 day with 3 games) 

Typical Practice Schedule:

Warm-Up (15 minutes):

Dynamic stretching (5 minutes)

Warm-up (5 minutes)

Agility drills (5 minutes): Ladder drills, cone drills focused on improving agility and footwork.

Skill Development (40 minutes):

Passing drills (15 minutes): Emphasize accuracy, timing, and decision-making with various passing routes.

Receiving drills (15 minutes): Focus on catching techniques, route running, and creating separation from defenders.

Quarterback drills (10 minutes): Work on footwork, pocket presence, and reading defenses.

Team Drills (35 minutes):

Scrimmage (15 minutes): Implement offensive plays against a defense, focusing on execution and timing.

Red zone drill (10 minutes): Practice scoring in the red zone, emphasizing quick decision-making and precision.

Two-minute drill/Hurry up (10 minutes): Simulate hurry-up offense situations, practicing quick plays

Summer Fee Schedule:

*Once player attends try-outs and is invited to the team, exact expenses and fees will be provided at a later date before commitment.
